The first step is simple. Choose a goal, work with me for a month and make some progress. The achievement will feel great and parents spend less time being a teacher and more time being a parent.

It’s designed for kids in middle school or high-school and ideal for kids who need an increase in confidence and performance.

Students meet with me online once or twice each week, with extra sessions and parent meetings at the start to get all the relevant background and choose the goal. I’ll help your kid stay on track between sessions, help if they’re stuck on homework, and make sure they don’t forget what needs to be done. We’ll learn a lot about how your kid learns, and I’ll show them how to use that strategically in the future. At the end of the month, you and your kid will be stoked on the short-term progress and have a better relationship around school.

What we accomplish is up to you. It could be something for school - like doing better in math class, studying better for tests, or getting everything done on time. Or, it could be learning something new - I bring a broad set of subject specialties in math, humanities, economics, psychology, education, theater, music, and technology. Each kid gets a unique blend of sessions and support.

It’s OK if you learn differently. Actually, it’s great.

If you have a learning difference like dyslexia, are on the spectrum, have ADHD or have a learning challenge I didn’t mention, that’s great. I like working with kids who learn differently, and I’ve been doing it for a long time.

Cost and What’s Included

The package costs $1100 CAD for one month. It includes your weekly sessions, intake, a learning plan, and help between sessions.
